Exercise to lose body fat.

Exercise to lose body fat will often bring disillusionment.

The amount of weight lost through exercise, is soon lost due to the thirst and hunger which follows the physical activity.

This is because satisfying the need for drink or food which often follows the exercise can rapidly replace any loss of weight you may have achieved through your hard won exertion.

An even bigger problem is the drinking of things like Coke or sweetened drinks which people often use to quench their thirst following a workout.

If you can quench your thirst with just plain water, this will help.

A can of Coke has about 300 calories of sugar and you would be lucky to burn up that many calories during your exercise.

People do not realise how sugar can affect their weight.

Here in Australia and the US we consume about half a pound(250 grams) of sugar A DAY. This is a major source weight gain.

If you are not already aware of it, carbohydrates,(which is our biggest food source) and of which sugar is a major part, are the biggest cause of our weight gain.

I suggest you read the following article which explains how carbohydrates are turned into sugar. There is also so much sugar added to the food we eat, it’s no wonder our society is becoming overwhelmed with a weight problem.

Leave exercise to lose body fat- go to Body fat

Whilst there are many beneficial reasons for exercise, it is almost a total waste of time trying to lose weight unless you also take steps with your diet and particularly what you drink.
