There are so many thoughts on the best way to lose weight. Here are some ideas that might help.

An article I recently read from the "WASHINGTON POST" said, A major study has found, Low fat diets do not protect women against heart attacks, strokes, breast or colon cancer. This contradicts what was once believed to be the cornerstone of a healthy life style.(Or Weight loss) "my addition".

This was the result an 8 year study of nearly 50.000 middle aged women which DIDN'T support the value of a low fat diet. This undermines a belief supported by many doctors on the value of a this kind of diet.

The corner stone of an ADA's diet is to lower fat intake. The idea that eating fat will make you fat is a fundamental mistake.

For most people. It's the creation of excess FAT THAT YOU CREATE that makes you fat, not eating fat itself. There is a proviso associated with this though. See trans fats

This idea of eating fat makes you fat, is in my opinion, the biggest lie ever foisted on our populations in my life time. Tell a big enough lie often enough and everyone will believe it.
