One of the reasons some people have trouble loosing weight is due to persistent hunger.

A lot of overweight people have a great deal of trouble trying to ignore their feelings of hunger which can lead them into excess sugar consumption often in the form of chocolates, candies or something similar.

What is really happening here is a nutrient deficiency is now being masked by some form of sugar consumption like sweet biscuits. What their body is calling out for is not sugar but sugar seems to effectively mask the underlying cravings and sugar is bad news for weight loss.

How many of us in our modern lifestyle are shut away inside an office building and away from the sun?. Keeping ourseves wrapped up in warm clothing, how can we generate enough vitamin D from the sun? I wonder about those women who for religous or ethnic reasons are constantly deprived of this.

This vitamin can be obtained fairly cheaply and it's importance cannot be over estimated, particularly where calcium is needed such as with osteoporosis problems and weight loss. Without vitamin D bones can become thin and can also become misshapen. It can also cause rickets in children the effects of which can last a life time. Loading ourselves up with calcium without adequate vitamin D is a waste of time.

Vitamin D is one of the oil based vitamins like vitamin E. The importance of Vitamin D is very badly overlooked as this weight loss information is unfortunately poorly understood.
